The Fallible Prophets:

However the Bible records no claim of infallibility for any man.  Instead Heavenly Father has seen fit to record numerous instances of fallibility in even his most stalwart prophets.  He clearly demonstrates that his prophets were not immune from being human.

Moses was kept from entering the Promised Land because he failed “to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel” (failed to honor God as Holy in front of the Israelites!Numbers 20:12.

Jonah rejected God twice.  First he ran from God and then he rejected God’s choice to show compassion to Nineveh.  Jonah 3:10 & 4:1.

After Job witnessed to his companions concerning God, God severely rebuked him and said Job’s counsel was darkened by words without knowledge.  Job 38:2.

Elijah abandoned his position as prophet and asked God to end his life.  1 Kings 19:3-4.
