How Do You Decide If Something Is True?

How does Heavenly Father want his children to determine truth? Heavenly Father used the Holy Spirit to reveal the answer to this question. The Holy Spirit accomplished this by inspiring scripture. When this witness of the Holy Spirit is examined we see:

Heavenly Father points to His Holy Word as the source for Truth:

John 17:17: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
