1 Corinthians 15:56:  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

The Significance of God's Commands is exhibited in this Gem; namely that sin leads to the sting of death.  But this Gem has another facet.  This facet spotlights a new concept.  "The strength of sin is the law."  This is a subtle and yet profound revelation.  Sin would not be sin if there were no commands.  It is the law, all of the commands that Heavenly Father gives us, that gives life to sin.  The greater the law, the stronger the effect of breaking that law.
