The Gems under “The Great Exchange” display the miraculous transformation of a worthless
grain of sand into what is truly a “Pearl of Great Price”. They also show that this transformation is based on the
Role and Mission of the Christ. That Christ’s Atonement paid the price demanded by
Justice for every person’s sin
and now Mercy can reign and bestow undeserved gifts on Heavenly Father’s children.
In the following Drawers of Gems we will examine closely the inherent beauty of some of these blessings. In each
case a blessing is portrayed as the exchange of something we do not want with something we do not deserve. The
color of the Gems on display in these Drawers symbolizes each particular blessing.
In this Drawer the Gems are colored blue, the color of the sky, the color of heaven. This symbolizes
Eternal Life as in when Stephen looked up to see his Father and his Savior just
before he was stoned to death.
Acts 7:55: But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up
stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
